I woke up at 5am to head into DC for a shoot. By 6am, the shoot had been cancelled on account of the impending (see above). On my way back to my apartment it started to snow. I've always wanted to shoot a snow timelapse so I figured what better time than in the middle of finals week? Some of the timplapses came out well., some had flicking issue; all part of the learning experience. Enjoy.
Over the past semester I've had the privilege to work with some great people at GreyComm Studios to put together this short cooking show. I really the way its been turning out, so I thought I would share this particular episode that I edited and shot. Katlyn Higgins has done a wonderful job hosting and producing the show; and I'm really excited about the over aesthetic and feel of the show. Enjoy.
My first attempt at making a reel of my work from the past year. I'm half into it, half not. Need to find a better way to incorporate my live action and motion design work together.
It's been awhile since I last updated the blog, but fortunately that's due to a large influx of work, so nothing to complain about. A few weeks ago I was contacted by a friend and former co-worker about an opportunity to create video for IndieGoGo for their yearly review of their social impact division. I was happy to reunite with my former co-worker and put together this combination of animation and video for IndieGoGo.
For the past couple of days I've been documenting a band called The Palace at 4am. I've shooting video them both as a friend and fan, and it's been a great experience. In this video I combined some of the rehearsal footage I shot with their performance at Loyolapalooza and I'm pretty happy with the result. Hope you enjoy.
